Ladies and Gentlemen in Pawnland!
Its official sports fans – PCG has been invited to set up and present our products and services this year in London at the annual National Pawnbrokers Association’s UK Convention and Trade-show.
This year’s event will be hosted at the Park Plaza Riverbank London Hotel overlooking the famed Thames River and the House of Parliament October 10th – 11th in London of course.

PCG was contacted by the editor in chief of their trade magazine for article submissions this past year and we have published several articles in their trade magazine subsequently. As a result of this participation we have received very positive feedback on our industry specific articles and are establishing new contacts and clients as a result of this participation and have since joined their organization as a vendor member.
This is the first time PCG has been invited to present at this distinguished show and we are looking forward to meeting our many new brothers and sisters in our beloved industry as this will be a real treat for us.

We are very excited about expanding our networking base and clients to the United Kingdom as this will be an expansion of new opportunities to join the numerous other clients we currently service in Europe.
Brad Huisken with IAS training will also be joining forces with us this year in London to help spread the gospel and word that our collective service in the industry’ has produced.
For PCG this will be an up-close and upfront opportunity to explore some of the oldest operators in the world today. The industry boasts centuries of activity in the old world and we are very much looking forward to learning and sharing from our fellow colleagues from that part of the world.

A couple of quick updates from PCG on our upcoming events are as follows:
PCG’s – Exclusive Industry Peer Focus Group – Edmonton Canada May 6th – 10th
This year’s Focus Group meeting for Group I is scheduled for May 6th – 10th in Edmonton Canada this year. We will be doing a case-study of the Cash Canada group and their high-level mufti-store operations up close and up front with this groups peer members. This is year two for this group and history has been made with the advent of these high-level peer groups.
PCG is forming several new groups now, be sure to send us any inquiry interest if you or your organization would like to consider joining one of these industry changing formats that is being offered exclusively by the Pawn Shop Consulting Group.
Midwest Pawnbrokers Convention and Trade-show May 17th – 19th
It’s official PCG has been invited to present and speak again this year at the annual Midwest Pawnbrokers Convention and Trade-show this May 17th – 19th in Louisville Kentucky.
PCG has spoken the last several years at this event and this is one of the best attended regional shows in the country. This years lecture circuit series piece we have produced is entitled “How to Manage the Growing Changes facing our Industry today”. This will be a DO NOT MISS opportunity to hear it from PCG today. As many of you know we service clients from around the world and are provided a very unique opportunity to expand on trends and issues that affect our industry today. We look forward to seeing those of you who will make it to the show, be sure to stop by our booth and check us out.

PCG’s – Operations Management and Employee Educational Series – Session I May 26th – 28th
We are hosting our first Operations Management and Employee Educational series this year in Ft. Worth this May from the 26th – 28th in Ft. Worth Texas. This event will be like none other we have done to date, we are inviting several industry supporters to present in class room formats how their products and services can benefit our stores and also to educate team members on how to promote and or expand the services we offer in our operations along with world – class industry educational information offered in open feedback sessions and forums.
This past year we provided these programs in conjunction with a number of industry notables and this year we are expanding the list of presentations, topics and money making concepts to our select attendees.
Attendance to these events is very limited due to the active feedback mechanisms built into to engage, inform and educate ALL attendees.
More info on this event will be forthcoming over the next several weeks, we will also be taking this program to California later this year as well.
2013 International Pawn Symposium & Conference November 11th – 17th
It’s also official – we are moving forward with this year’s historic Pawn Symposium. Unfortunately we were unable to find a venue any better than this one – we will be at the Ritz Carlton in Kapalua Maui this year, another 5-diamond venue that hopefully will surpass our privileged past guests and attendees from our last two Ritz functions we have completed. Last year we were in the Cayman Islands and Naples the year before.
This year’s event will be like NO other Pawn event anywhere in the world today. PCG strives to bring the best and most informed speakers, supporters and attendees from around the world today. The event will be styled with extremely informative open-air sessions with active feedback mechanisms built in, along with a host of globally experienced professionals presenting a wide array of topics and subjects in one of the most luxurious venues on the planet today.
Information and pricing on this venue will be out shortly, we are expecting another sold-out event, yes space is limited and we are also suggesting folks get on the list early this year as well.
